Founding Team

We are a small team of engineers who kept meeting the same failure from opposite sides. Some of us were on site, chasing the current revision of a drawing through four systems and a group chat. Some of us were building retrieval systems, watching them work beautifully on clean corpora and fall apart on a real project archive.

Construction is not short of software. It is short of software that understands a project archive is not a folder of files. It is a hierarchy, in several languages, where the version matters as much as the content and the answer is worthless without the page it came from.

So we built the layer that was missing, and we build it in the open with the people using it. Every design partner sits close enough to the roadmap to change it, and most of what shipped this year started as something someone needed on a Tuesday.
